Manufacturers
In this section, you can find your configurations for your manufacturing costs and timings. This way you can have configurations for your workshop and others for various suppliers, for example.
Here you will find listed all your existing configurations.
To create a new Manufacturer configuration, click on the "New manufacturer", which will list a new blank configuration.
To edit a Manufacturer configuration, click on it.
Manufacturer Editor
All Manufacturer configurations are organized in 10 menus where you can find all the fields and options to set your costs and timings.
Info
In this menu, you can find informational values that will help identify this configuration, and set basic details like its location, currency, etc...
There are several options available at the top right in icons:
Fill with data: This option allows the form to be filled with previously saved information.
Duplicate: This option enables you to make a copy of the manufacturer.
Delete: This option allows you to remove the manufacturer.
Save: Saves the changes made.
Markets
Within this section, you can find the cost of various metals that 2Shapes uses to calculate prices and costs in real-time for various applications on your 2Shapes Suite.
Also, you can click on Sync from LBMA to get the latest metal prices from London's Bullion Market.
Metals
In this area, you can choose what metals you can be manufactured, the purity marking of each metal, the price per gram of every type of metal, and the percentage of metal lost in the process of casting.
Clicking on Calculate at the top-right corner of this menu automatically applies the prices you have on the Markets menu to each metal Marking field, and leaves the result as the Price.
Printing and prototyping
In this menu, you can set the price of the resin used in the printing and prototyping stage, the mode of calculating the cost (either by volume of resin used or by individual models printed, along with the number of models you can print per day and the cleaning cost of your machinery.
Casting, finishing, polishing
Within this section, you can set the cost of manufacturing a piece below and above a certain threshold called Breaking value.
There is an icon at the left, indicating what type of piece the fields on their right effect.
On the left field, you can input from what weight you consider a piece to be small or big, and the field on the right allows you to define the cost for smaller and bigger pieces.
You can set different Breaking values for each type of piece, and different costs for their below or above thresholds.
Additional processes
Within this section, you can set the cost of applying additional processes (such as brushed, matte, and hammered finishes) to a piece below and above a certain threshold called Breaking value.

You can set different Breaking values for each type of piece, and different costs for their below or above thresholds.
Gem setting
Within this section, you can set the cost of setting stones into different settings below and above a certain threshold called Breaking value.
There is an icon at the left, indicating what type of setting the fields on their right effect.
On the rightmost field, you can input from what weight you consider a stone to be small or big, and the fields on the left allow you to define the cost for setting smaller and bigger stones.
Quality
This menu allows you to define the cost and timeframe of the Quality assurance process.
Price per hour: The cost of the process per hour.
Time per Model in minutes: The amount of time in minutes it takes to assure the quality meets the standards.
Hours per day: How many hours is invested in this process.
Timing
With this menu, you can set how many days it takes a project to move from one manufacturing stage to the following.
Each process has a dedicated field to it, and then you have another 2 for packaging, and security days, in case the manufacturing process needs extra time.
On the working days field, you can select which days you can work on manufacturing projects.
Holidays calendar
This calendar allows you to choose which days of the year you reserve for holidays, so the 2Shapes system won't schedule manufacturing tasks for that day, and will calculate delivery dates accordingly.
You can click manually on each day, or use the Import button at the top-right corner of this menu to open a window where you can select your country and state to automatically apply the official holidays there. The Reset menu unselects all days of the calendar.
